Special Olympics East Hawaii traveled to Kona for our annual area soccer & bocce area competition on July 20, 2013. Thirty soccer players, 27 bocce athletes, 22 unified bocce partners along with 9 coaches made the bus trip for a wonderful day of competition with athletes from West Hawaii. This area competition qualifies participants to advance to the State Aukake Games on Oahu coming this August 17-18.
