Golf Treasurers Fundraising Tournament

Our golf program is expanding each year. We are truly grateful to George Lewizki for giving his time, talent and donating golf equipment to our athletes in order for them to participate in this wonderful sport of golf. Many sponsors made this golf tournament possible and we appreciate your support. We would also like to thank the Volcano Golf and Country Club for their assistance in hosting our tournament. And lastly, we would like to say MAHALO to all 36 golfers who teamed up with our athletes and made a big impact on their golf adventure!

               Nolan Martin's team took 1st place and is rewarded with new awesome irons!

                       Jordan May's team were the lucky winners of beautifu new drivers!

                    Richard Peterson was the luckiest of all winning the Mauna Lani golf for 4.

Ohana Summer Picnic & Fun Day

Thank you to the Hilo High School Key Club and Advisor, Charlene Masuhara,  for their continued support of our annual Ohana Summer Picnic. We would also like to thank David Baldwin, Hilo High School head football coach, and players, Donovan Kelly, Tristin Spikes, Isi Holani and  Makana Josue-Ma'a for helping coach our flag football teams. The Special Olympics East Hawaii's Ohana committee organizes our dances and picnic throughout the year-Mahalo to Joanne Nagamine, Kimie Ching, Dina Pascua, Suzy Lauer, Karen Melillo, Rick Turchi, Evangeline Macaysa, Bobby and Calvin Uchida for all their support  & help.

                          Explosions Bullets soccer team brough home the Gold Medal in Soccer Division "A"

                             Red Waves Thunder soccer team brought took 4th place in division "C" soccer
